Version 1.1 brings metallic/specular options, vertex colors, and improved environmental lighting!
Hey all! In this update, I have completely revamped the way the base Toon shader works. Now, you can choose between a metallic or specular workflow, just like Unity's default shaders.
In both modes, you can use a smoothness slider to control how shiny the object surface is. Smooth objects have a lot of environmental reflections by default, but you can configure the global illumination strength too.
Vertex colors can now be used to tint the color of your meshes. Additionally, the outline post process effect can draw outlines along different vertex color boundaries, and I have included a script to generate random vertex colors on a whole mesh or its faces for this use case.
Unity 6 support should be a lot more stable, and this update comes with a slew of other tweaks and bug fixes.
I hope you enjoy making toon-styled games with this update!
